If you are constantly tired then you know how hard it can be to avoid napping in the afternoon. You may feel like you have no choice. And want to curl up on the sofa and nap for the whole afternoon. One thing that you can do when you get the urge to nap does a workout. Try and get on the exercise machine instead of crawling onto the sofa. When you do this, you can increase your productivity levels. You can also make the effort to get the beach body that you have always wanted. When you work out, you’ll find that the rush of endorphins is enough for you to wake yourself up. It can really train your body so that you stop getting tired in the afternoon as well.
Chocolate contains caffeine, but that isn’t the only reason why it can help you to wake up. The best thing about chocolate is that it contains flavonoids and these have been proven to boost cognitive skills and it can also help you to boost your mood as well. You can easily take advantage of everything that it has to offer by just having a bite or two when you get tired and it can serve as the perfect, quick pick-me-up. Just make sure that you don’t eat the whole bar, as this can have the opposite effect. You should also try and eat more vegetables, as this will really benefit you in the long-term.
If you have seven coffees, all back-to-back then you’ll soon see that this is the best way for you to go into crash-mode. A single, good cup of coffee is all your body needs to stay awake, anything more than that is your mind telling you that you need a nap regardless. For this reason, it helps to have a single, really strong cup of coffee when trying to stay awake rather than having five or six normal cups.
