Searching for Landscaping Ideas. I am currently working on a new puzzle that has a bunch of old cars. I thought it would be a good one that Greg and I could work on together. Little did I know that he’s not very helpful. It’s okay, but sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who takes months to finish a 1000 piece puzzle.
My work week was becoming a little stressful, so I decided to take a random unplanned day off during the week. Greg and I did some shopping at Walmart and kept everything pretty low-key. It was nice just to throw my hands up and say that I was taking a day off.
On Saturday, we went for our usual weekend drive to ride around and see what new places we can find. Our first stop was at the Round Barn, and we did a little shopping in the market. They carry our favorite pickles from epic pickles!
I’ve been working on my water intake, so I was telling Greg that I’m going to have to start carrying toilet paper with me whenever we go somewhere. You always take this long drive through the country to get to where we’re going, and it’s not so easy to find a public restroom.
For our next stop, we ended up at Boyers orchard. They have a market, they sell landscaping items, and they have a winery. I didn’t spend much time in the market because I’m not a fan of wearing a mask. They didn’t have a sign saying that you had to wear a mask, but I kept it on for the short time that we were in there. They did have some good looking peaches.
While we were outside looking for things to add to the landscaping at the house, Greg and I came across the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. They had liberty Holly bushes, and there was a metallic hint to them. I want to add them to the yard, but I don’t want to be the one to plant them or take care of them. They are gorgeous, though.
As soon as we left Boyers Orchard, it started to rain on us, and it was a pretty good one. We were in good spirits, so it didn’t bother us at all. It was kind of fun! It’s all just part of #JeepLife, and we love it!
Greg and I got lost, and then somehow we ended up in Gettysburg on the Battlefield. We wanted to climb one of the Overlook platforms they have. But apparently, they close the outdoor platform because of COVID-19. It doesn’t make much sense to me, but it is Pennsylvania, and their governor is a little nuts. That’s just my personal opinion.
